Why You Don’t “Get” Twitter

Published by feint at 5:03 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

I hear it practically every single day - “I don’t get Twitter, why do people need to know what im eating”!

Well there is probably a reason why you don’t get Twitter (along the lines of your failing enterprises), but I do admit that when I first came across Twitter I underestimated its worth.

But if you are still underestimating the power of Twitter - get out of your hole!  The president of the U.S, who happened to run one the most successful campaigns in history uses twitter and sure as hell knows just how powerful it is.

You see, Twitter is no longer about telling people what you ate for dinner.  No in fact it is a now super precise communication platform that stops even the worst ramblers from going off on a never ending point that seems like it will never end because you just keep on ….  The 140 characters is a god send.

Twitter can be used in a huge variety of ways.  You could just follow your work colleauges and friends to see what they are currently doing. You could use it to ask a question and get a ton of responses faster than if you asked the same question on Yahoo Answers.  You could use it to promote your new product or service.  Its really up to you!

I agree and it is so much fun to comment back people. I just did a small post on this very issue and then came on and found yours today. Way to go.
